Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was the head girl. She also gained straight As in her A-levels. If Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale character, she said she regretted having not had an experience like the traditional one at university. Coleman appeared in Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival with a company named In Yer Space, which she participated in during her time at school. Along with being awarded a prize for acting skills, the show it performed attracted a lot of attention. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale part of Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman for both the Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman won a TV Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will be Matt Smith's partner after Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose her for the part because she was the most efficient when working with Smith and spoke more quickly than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her work in the field since 1987, and has appeared in various TV shows and films. The most well-known of her roles was the television. Eva has had many TV roles, but the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The actress was nominated the two "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the the opportunity to express the musical side of her. Alongside being an actress, Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. Eva has had three marriages and is the mother of a child from her previous husband.
